Waffles

Ingredients

2 x Bananas

100g Oats 

1 x whole egg

1 x egg white 

1 x teaspoon vanilla essence 

1 x teaspoon baking powder 

Cinnamon 

Protein Powder optional

Toppings

2 tablespoons of Greek or Coconut yogurt 

Fresh strawberries/fruit of choice 

1 tablespoon Queen Sugar free maple syrup 

Cacao nibs (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat waffle maker, spray with olive oil spray.

  2. Blend all ingredients in a NutriBullet or blender until smooth

  3. Pour 1/4 of mixture into waffle maker (don’t over fill)

  4. Cook until golden brown OR until waffle maker indicates waffles are ready.

  5. Top with greek yogurt, fruit, maple syrup and cacao nibs

    This recipe makes 3 large waffles.

    For vegan friendly recipe substitute the eggs for chia or flax egg.

    Gluten Free substitute normal oats for GF oats or GF self raising flour.
